Hardened & Tempered steel wire 1.6mm & 2mm (0.063" & 0.080") diameter, is filled into plastic brush disks or segmented disks to produce this very aggressive brush. It is used dry, to scarify and scrape away compacted deposits of debris such as 'oil with dirt' or ice. We recommend that wire brushes only be used dry. Non-spark phosphor bronze wire is also available for any hazardous explosion risk area. Floor scarifying is best carried out using specialist heavy-duty machinery.
